Love Livo Nights

1st Thursday of the month from Thursday, 07 November 2019 onwards: 5pm – 8pm

Share an after-work drink with friends and colleagues on the first Thursday of every month as part of our Love Livo Nights pop-up series.

Moving to a new laneway setting for each event, working professionals, residents, students and visitors can experience a pop-up bar, delicious food and live music. There’ll also be a fun, little twist each time – think German beer and pretzels during Oktoberfest and delicious dumplings during Lunar New Year.

The Welcome Choir

1st Sunday of the month:  2pm – 4pm

The Welcome Choir is a drop-in choir that sings together at the Casula Powerhouse to learn one brand new popular song each time. There is no audience, no auditions. There’s no need to be able to read music as the songs are taught by ear. We sing modern pop, soul and R&B classics that you know and love from the radio. Everyone is welcome. Just come along! We believe in the power of music to lift people up.

At the start of each session, you will learn how to control your voice through vocal and breathing techniques and have plenty of fun along the way. The Welcome Choir is led by the talented and experienced Bek Jensen, a professional singer and singing teacher with many years of experience leading choirs.
