Westfield Liverpool

Stores include Myer, JB Hifi, Australia Post, Big W, Coles, Target and Woolworths to name just a few, and there is an Event Cinema so you can catch up on all the latest releases at the same time.

Liverpool City Library

This much-loved library has a variety of services for children aged three to 12 years including:

  • Story time
  • Reading corner
  • Songs
  • Homework help
  • Educational games
  • School holiday programs
  • Computer and internet facilities

The library also has a dedicated Young People’s Librarian that organises a range of activities for families and children, making it a great spot for both learning and fun.

Open Spaces

Liverpool City has over 500 parks and green open spaces, many with barbecue facilities, picnic areas, walkways and cycleways, play equipment and sporting fields. It is also home to two of Sydney’s most significant rivers – the Georges River and Hawkesbury-Nepean River.  Both offer numerous locations to take in the relaxing vistas.

A highlight is the Lake Moore Walk at Chipping Norton, starting at Chauvel Park and following the lake’s scenic foreshore to Haigh Park. The Parramatta Cycleway Rail Trail is Liverpool’s main cycleway. Starting on the corner of Scott and Bigge Streets, the trail runs beside the railway line from Liverpool to Parramatta. There are also skate parks located at Moorebank and Miller.
